The MageData Team
Noven Purnell-WebbDip. IT (Network Engineering), CCNA, MCP |
Background: Noven put himself through the early days of Uni by piecing together ex-government hardware and selling it on to other students. Then he fell into WAP development for a startup company that eventually seduced him to Sydney about six months before the dotcom crash bit. As the tech wreckage cleared Noven picked up a Diploma in Network Engineering, did some projects in Laos and Indonesia, built some telecentres in regional SA then ended up in Brisbane managing systems and networks for accounting firms. City life made his head explode, so he relocated down to Northern NSW and found lots of really fun tech to play with. Specialty: Noven does most of our travelling and consulting throughout western NSW and SA and provides the bulk of our strategic management services. He is our virtualisation and network architect and is responsible for most of the crazy ideas we trial. OS of choice: Ubuntu Linux (yes I replace Unity) |

Background: Martin is the wise old man of MageData, bringing over 25 years of experience in Information Management. After working as a business analyst for the ATO and as Technical Director for a global software vendor specialising in Document and Record Management he retired out into the lush hills of Northern NSW. After becoming a VET certified trainer Martin now chooses to keep himself occupied with the unenviable task of herding the geeks. Role: Martin's job is to get the outcomes expected by our clients. This includes consulting, defining, documenting, confirming and training in new projects and systems. OS of choice: Windows 7 Pro (only because he can't play with MVS on an IBM mainfame anymore) Martin has now retired from full time work but still does specific consulting work with us. |
