Where is MageData physically located?

MageData has locations in Beltana, South Australia, and at Byron Bay, in northern NSW. However, we also travel widely. MageData customers are located throughout South Australia, New South Wales, Queensland, Northern Territory and beyond. We also have worked at various customer site locations throughout South-East Asia, installing networks, providing training, and implementing IT programs.

Beltana? Where exactly is that?

 Beltana is about 700 kilometres north of Adelaide, in the remote northern Flinders Ranges of South Australia. It was at one time the gateway to the outback, and the staging post for expeditions of several Australian exporers. The telegraph from London to Melbourne ran through the town, as did the railway and the highway. The glory days are long gone now, but Beltana lives on. These days it remains home to a small population, including the headquarters of MageData. We like to think of it as a “hub” of high-tech in the outback of South Australia.

What kinds of services do MageData offer?

 We offer a Business Class managed IT service all over regional and outback Australia. We design, install, manage and support business IT systems and networks. We develop and host online business systems which integrate with both your website and your office. We are cloud computer integrators, able to work with you to develop and implement the optimum cloud suite for your business. We specialise in working with customers in outback and rural locations in Australia, particularly in challenging environments where IT infrastructure can pose unique problems.

My hardware is out of date, but I'm not sure of my upgrade paths. Can MageData help me?

Yes we can. We can perform an audit of your enterprise and your current IT, and make a recommendation for an affordable, sensible upgrade program. It starts with a phone call.

 

We need a network installed, but we are in a remote community in the outback.

We understand that not every enterprise needs, or can afford, a full time help desk. MageData offers support packs which enable you to purchase technical assistance up front, and then use it when the need arises. We want someone to come and visit us, see our location and talk us through our IT options. But we are a long way from the main highway. Do you make housecalls?

We do. We can't guarantee we can make it today, but we understand the importance of face-to-face communication, particularly in the bush. Talk to us about a site visit, set up an appointment, and as long as the creeks aren't overflowing, we'll make it through.
